I have studied with a great teacher from Wutan, it is simply the name of the school/organization founded by Grandmaster Li Yun Chiao to preserve and promote the traditional CMA style he taught. Students should be somewhat enamored of their sifu, and then should become normalized by seeing the humanity in them. I don't dispute what u say about sharing w people w the good heart. Its just hard 2 know who has a good heart and who doesn't. So many people have come to my sensei to ask for a black-belt so that they can teach. Some are TKD, some are Judo or Kung-fu or they train for 6 months and ask be given a belt, & offered to share half their fees with our Sensei. Needless to say, all got turned away. Reputable schools only accept as students people of good character, humility, commitment and deication. It takes time to find out if a person is suitable to learn the art. Masters don't teach just because you want to learn or can afford to pay. They don't wanna produce half-baked students of thugs. Its not even about sucking them up. Its about you wanting it enough to ask and ask again. I'm always suspicious of teachers who simply teach everything to everyone who joins unreservedly.

Great video, As far as i am aware no-one in the UK bar Master Wu from Wutan could teach you Bagua (as done by Liu). Traditional Kung Fu (which Wutan teach) is quite an antiquated system of learning so naturally the most important aspects of it are not given out to people who are not prepared to put some time into the school, even if you did prove your loyalty to the Tao.

I met master Wu last year and spiralled energy around him. As far as I'm aware he didn't feel a thing. I guess we are tuned in on different levels. I think F4 didnt lip-sync this 'cause I have the original CD. This is the last song of their Live performance. Only at the end where F4 greets their fans, I think they just sang along with the background music! About the outfits, I read something on the news 4 yrs ago but I cant remember. bueno creo que carreras tiene una buy buena vos, pero para otra clase de areas, aver, ser tenor no implica hacer todas las areas de tenores, por ejemplo esta es un area muy pesada con tonos altos, con muchos pasajes,etc. y el no puede hacer ese trabajo con facilidad, asi que bueno carreras porque no haces las areas que puedes hacer con facilidad y no esta que llegas al SI de pedo abierto, chillon, feo, la opera es otra cosa no lo que hiciste en esta area.

A mi punto de vista, Carreras cantaba mejor cuadno era jóven (como en este video) que cuando más grande. Obviamente el cáncer le había robado no sólo su salud sino su técnica también, y no me gustó del todo su trabajo en Los Tres Tenores. I agree, though there are certain spinto roles that suit him well. For example, his Mario Cavadossi in Tosca at Covent Garden is so beautiful and full of power. Any heavier than that, and it exceeds his prime range.

I love Carreras, but he is essentially a lyric tenor with certain spinto qualities when he pushes it. This role--like Otello or Chenier--is best left to the more heroic voices, like Giuseppe Giacomini. His Rodolfo, on the other hand, was just beautiful.

I agree with both operaboy 81 and Vickersman about Carreras. He was indeed very very good when it came to showing deep-rooted emotions...bringing a certain vulnerability to the charcater he portrayed. As far as I'm concerned he was the best Rodolfo in La Boheme (acting-wise) of the 3 Tenors.
