Nakamura can only do free kicks? No that would be Beckham, Naka can actually run at players, create and score goals from open play. Beckham is only useful when there's a corner or free kick, and even then he's not worth the place in the team just for those anymore, since there's so many players out there with superior dead ball skills. Nakamura is the best! He scored in a freekick against both the game at parkhead AND at old trafford against Man Utd in 2006. There's more of an Art to Nakamura's free kicks. He curls them in, where as Juninho just boots the ball as hard as he can and just happens to be pretty accurate. Different techniques, both GREAT players. Couldn't say which one is better..

Much better contest than Nakamura v Beckham. The way Juninho hits the ball when he takes a free kick is completley unique. I've never seen anyone else do it that way. Nakamura's technique is sublime though. You can tell it's been practiced and refined relentlessly, as if by a ninja with OCD.

The "Reward of Pride" was on a special channel called the international channel here back in the 1990's. I just happened to see it one day and found it interesting and started taping every episode. (I still have the tapes.) Recently I found out that he made a movie here in the USA, "American Pastime" which I watched just a few days ago. He was good in it, and yes, speaks English quite well (How can I write to him? haha). I decided to search for him here on You Tube. Thank you for your response.

The name of a drama called "The Reward of Pride" in English is "Hokori no Houshuu" in Japanese that was broadcasted during '85~'86. He has made many hits, though he is originally an actor. And "Fureai", the title of the song on the video is one of his hits. Incidentally, the song was a parenthetic theme of a drama called "Warera Seishun!" in '74.

Does anyone know what was the name of the show that Masatoshi Nakamura was on in the 90's? It was a crime drama called in English: The Reward of Pride. That was when I saw him for the first time and I really like him as an actor even though I don't speak Japanese. A Japanese friend of mine told me he was a singer. This song is beautiful... That is something that killed Celtic in the past, paying players huge wages for their loyalty when in reality, SPL clubs cant afford to pay that kind of wage. Unfortunately its just the way it is. Celtic can match almost anyone on gate reciept profit but when it comes to TV rights etc SPL teams get screwed.

Man, i love the argueing between Celtic and Rangers fans.
