OK a little common sense is in order then. He was at the height of his popularity in the mid 80s when AIDS cases were going parabolic from sexual transmission. He wasn't a hemophiliac or had a blood transfusion from surgery as far as was reported. Lastly, those born with it would have been born after the epidemic started (aka mid-80s). He was born in 1957. Yup, that's the same Jermaine Paul. He was on the 7th Season of American Idol. I remember he sang "Soldier's Cry" and tore it UP! He made it to Hollywood, made it through to the top 50, and then dropped out of the competition. Pity, cuz with a voice like that, he could have really won....

Yeah I agree she is a excellent songwriter. But the two interlude off her album "Feeling You, Feeling Me" and "Nobody Not Really" has such a great melody. I mean its not your average interlude....lol. They are more like songs :-)
