Awesome. I train in a combat for of hand-a-half-sword and this would be perfect for defense...and why is it GBH. In Britain a reasonable level of self-defense is allowed, so if you get mugged at knife point..why not respond if your family is in danger. I practice Krav Maga myself. Personally Id stoop down, and push the barrel up and the opponent forward at the same time thus compromising their balance. Taking the gun straight off them, involves less movement and gets you out of the way of a bullet if it goes off. Oh and tried it loads of time under pressure testing and it never fails. Exactly what I wanted to say! Love the whole 'Get Out of Jail Free' attitude to this video. All easy stuff that you DON'T need to be a 300lb Black Belt to do. My only slight 'nit-pick' is - that if you're a normal 5'8" 160lbs guy- and you need to r-e-a-c-h into a 6 footer's strangle, you need to bend his arms a bit first. Otherwise, absolutely brilliant. Many moves, when configured correctly are enough to paralyze or kill an opponent. The Israelis can keep their secrets, but that doesn't mean others will. This will obviously not work at long distance =S Many hostage situations involve close up gunpoint situations, and so this video is not impractical. When I was in my freshman year of high-school, we had a convicted murderer (guest speaker) come to the school to talk about his "accident" and how "sorry" he was. After school, he approached the other student and delivered one punch to the head, causing the student to fall down. As the he tried to regain his footing, he collapsed dead. It is a minimal possibility, though Hollywood perfects it every time.

I have to underline your point. If you look close at a skull, then you see that there isn't really anything what could be referred as a bone that could be 1. Strong enough to break through the entire way to the brain and 2. gives good area to be hit properly so that the force won't be given away to other parts of the face. And logicalbomb: As far as I know about your mentioned martial arts is that you are not allowed to hit the face in Jiu Jitsu, Wrestling, Karate and TKD, or it's very uncommon
